Hi, My name is Barbara Nelson and a former English and Art Teacher transplanted from Minneapolis,Minnesota and very interested in all literature and especially classic literature. I am looking to meet new people (women and men--50 and older), who love to read and get together once a month to have some great discussions, conversations and laughter.

I lost 50 pounds, my family lost 170 - AND have kept it off for over 2 1/2 years.  I am passionate about supporting people whose weight holds them back from doing what they want to do and being who they want to be. Because that was my story.
